One of the best ways to learn more about the Ministry is by participating in our New Member Classes. New Members classes walk you through all the in’s and out’s of UMBC. You learn what we believe as a church, what we do as a church and how to get involved.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward conviction. It expresses to the world that you have given your life to Christ and have been born again.

How to become baptized at UMBC?
​Our baptism is held on the first Sunday of each month. If you would like to sign up to be baptized, please call our church office at (770) 482-7088. Our church office will have one of our Deacons or Deaconess to contact you for further instructions. 

THE LORD’S SUPPER

The Lord’s Supper is to commemorate the death of Christ: “This do in remembrance of me.” It is observed to signify, seal and apply to believers all the benefits of the new covenant. In this ordinance, Christ ratifies his promises to His people, and they on their part solemnly consecrate themselves to Him and his entire service.

When is the Lord’s Supper celebrated at UMBC?
​We observe the Lord’s Supper every First Sunday during our 10:45 a.m. worship service.
